The Philips EasySpeed GC1905/21 1440W Steam Iron is designed to make everyday ironing quicker and more convenient with powerful steam performance, easy water filling and smooth fabric handling. Its compact design and pointed tip make it suitable for ironing shirts, trousers, uniforms, sarees and other everyday garments.

Powered by 1440W, the iron heats efficiently and supports a continuous steam output of up to 17 g/min, helping loosen fabric fibres and remove everyday wrinkles with less effort. Variable steam settings allow the steam level to be adjusted according to the fabric being ironed.

The built-in spray function releases a fine mist of water over stubborn creases, helping soften difficult wrinkles before ironing. This is particularly useful around collars, cuffs and heavily creased areas.

The iron features a 180 ml water tank with an extra-large filling opening and sideways-opening door, making refilling and emptying faster and more convenient. The transparent water reservoir also makes it easier to monitor the remaining water level during use.

Its smooth-gliding linished soleplate is designed to move efficiently across different fabrics while distributing heat effectively. The pointed steam tip provides better access around buttons, pleats and narrow garment areas.

For easier long-term maintenance, the Philips GC1905/21 incorporates a self-clean Calc-Clean function, which helps remove mineral deposits that can accumulate during regular steam ironing. The model is suitable for use with tap water under normal conditions.

A 180-degree swivel cord improves freedom of movement while ironing, while the approximately 1.8 metre power cord provides practical reach from the power outlet to the ironing board.
